Join them to learn flower pounding, also known as tatakizome or hammer printing, a direct printing method using fresh botanical materials. In this workshop, you’ll create floral monoprints on paper and cloth, learn techniques to make fabrics more colour-fast and how to care for printed fabrics. You’ll explore additional surface design possibilities like stitch and embroidery.

You’ll design a unique pattern on a pre-treated cotton tote bag with provided botanicals. All skill levels are welcome!
