Have you ever tried painting with a pinecone? Or using a leaf as a brush?
In this workshop class, we will use found and foraged materials to create our own art-making tools to explore the possibilities of drawing/painting that encourages our senses in a dynamic and lively way. We will create a work inspired by the landscape with a variety of mark-making techniques and purposeful play.
Using inks and other materials with our non-traditional art tools, participants will take part in the process of observing the world around us and freely expressing inspiration from nature.
Included:
Ink, paper materials, and other media to add if desired.
What Should People Bring: OPTIONAL: natural materials of interest from their own foraging (pine cones, twigs, feathers, leaves, etc.)
