Summer has arrived in all its vibrant and sunny glory! Along with the uptick in temperature, you can expect to see a few extra rainbows on the horizon as we’ve officially kicked off the season of Pride! A celebration of equality, love, and each unique member of our 2SLGBTQAI+ community, Pride is all about embracing your most authentic self. The wonderful thing about Pride is that you can celebrate it no matter who you are; all are welcome!
That’s a philosophy we know well, as the Fraser Valley is a place where everyone can come, find nature, discover different cultures, and be a part of a community. So, with that in mind, we are ready to fly our brightest colours and get in on the fun! Here are the spots around the Valley where you can be a part of the rainbow no matter which shade speaks to you.
🌈 Pride Month is typically celebrated worldwide in June, but in BC, it’s often towards the end of July, so these events land between the two months. For more Pride events and other happenings in the Fraser Valley, be sure to check out our Events page.
Drag Bingo – June 4 + July 2 (or the first Wednesday of every month)
You’ve never played bingo quite like this! Held at SideKick Brewing and hosted by Mistress of the Ceremonies, Hailey Adler, this is an always lively and entertaining way to meet new people and maybe even win some cash prizes. It’s a recurring event the first Wednesday of every month, so if you don’t make it for Pride, there’s always next month!

Chilliwack Pride Festival – July 13th
