The exhibition Small Colourful Life highlights how play and creative exploration can be powerful tools for rekindling inspiration and joy in art making. While play is often how we first engage with art as children—learning through colour, shape, and texture—it tends to fall away as we grow older and take on responsibilities or pressures for productivity and perfection. For artists Ember Muninn and Aaron Moran, revisiting play has become a vital part of moving past creative stagnation and reconnecting with the freedom and curiosity that originally drew them to their practices.
This exhibit will be on display from July 11th- August 3rd. During the Harrison Arts Festival, the hours are 9:00am to 5:00pm daily.
For the remainder of the month, the exhibit is open from 10:00am to 2:00pm, Monday to Friday, and 1:00pm to 4:00pm on weekends. Closed on July 25 and 28th.
