Langley
Start your family holiday journey with a fun day at Aldor Acres! This delightful, family-run farm will provide your family with a memorable visit! Pick out this year’s Christmas tree, visit the farm animals and do some shopping at their seasonal market! You can also stop in at Frosty’s Family Christmas Tree Farm or Oh Christmas Tree Farm!
Make sure to get your ticket for Glow this year as well where you and your family can stroll through the dazzling lights and festive decorations! Don’t forget to check out the kids’ scavenger hunt and holiday train ride while you’re there.
For more holiday moments in Langley, join Santa with a free cup of hot chocolate at the Fort Langley Community Hall Christmas Tree Lighting on December 3rd!
Abbotsford
Not far from Langley, is Abbotsford, and the Highstreet Shopping Centre. It is the ultimate place to go shopping, you’ll easily be able to find something for everyone in your crew, grab a bite to eat, and take in a film.
Treat your tastebuds with a trip to Clayburn Village Store where your family will be in awe of their candy selection! Or, if ice cream is more your pace, grab a scoop or two at Banter Ice Cream in Downtown Abbotsford! Also in Abbotsford’s Downtown, is their huge Christmas tree with no shortage of decorations (to be lit on December 3rd).
Chilliwack
Start the season off with a free family event in Cultus Lake on November 26th, featuring a market, magical lights, a visit with Santa, hot chocolate and so much more! You don’t want to miss out!
From December 3rd to 30th, Christmas in District 1881, will be the ultimate holiday experience! Santa will in town for you to capture that perfect family photo and you can take a spin on a festive Carousel ride.
Lastly, don’t forget to get your real Christmas tree at Pine Meadows Tree Farm, or Woodsong Christmas Trees!
Hope, Cascades & Canyons
Your next stop in the valley is in Hope, the delightful mountain town! This charming community will be hosting multiple Christmas events and will continuously be displaying the holiday spirit with their commitment to holiday decoration! On December 3rd, don’t miss the Hope for the Holidays | Hope Holiday Fest event where the downtown lights will be lit as well as their 21-foot-tall Christmas tree! And make sure you visit Memorial Park where you’ll find our latest addition to their chainsaw carving collection, the Grinch!
Make a trip out to Manning Park Resort too for loads of fun in the snow including alpine and nordic skiing, snowshoeing, tobogganing, and tubing! All the while, the lodge, and its cabins will be warmly awaiting you to go relax after a day packed with excitement!
Harrison River Valley
Coming back down the Fraser Valley, visit the Winter Night Lights display in Agassiz’s Pioneer Park, starting on December 1st!
And for another beautiful display of lights and holiday spirit, visit the Lights by the Lake at Harrison Lake! Here, you and your family can wander the glowing shores of the lake, with several fantastic spots for a family photo!
For a daytime adventure in Harrison River Valley, bring the crew to Kilby Historic Site, a museum of rural life! This pleasant 5-acre heritage site will be hosting Kilby Christmas in the Country on several dates in December, with fun winter activities for everyone like live music, heritage Christmas toy making, and warming campfires!
Mission
Make your last stop in the Fraser Valley in Mission! This season, relive your Mission Movie Moment throughout the town and take in the decorated locations. You’ll likely work up an appetite so why not stop in at the famous Rocko’s 24-hour Diner for a bite to eat afterward? You’ll also want to visit the Copper Market in Downtown Mission, where you’ll find live music, and food, drinks, and a great opportunity to do some holiday shopping!
