Join the Sts’ailes First Nation for their annual Walk for Truth and Reconciliation on September 30. Now in its fourth year, this powerful event brings together hundreds of people to walk in solidarity with First Nations communities.
The 3.5 km walk begins at 9:30 am at Sasquatch Crossing Eco Lodge (15500 Morris Valley Rd) and concludes at Sandpiper Resort (14282 Morris Valley Rd) with closing ceremonies ending around noon. The event will feature drummers, singers, dancers, and speakers from Sts’ailes, sharing songs of healing and reflection.
Shuttle service will be available for participants who need it.
This event is an opportunity to honour residential school survivors, remember the children who never returned home, and raise awareness of the lasting impacts of the residential school system across Canada.
