It is a 3-day event in 3 cities. It is a portage with Voyageurs dressed in 1824 to commemorate the passage of the Voyageurs that came in Stò:lõ territory.
Organized by the Living Arts Society, there is a gourmet hot dog food truck ($20) in the parking lot of Marina Park, music and a reenactment in the village and afterwards at 13:00 with 3 canoes. If you want to participate in the reenactments, dress like a Voyageur and walk a decorated paddle. If there are any places left in the canoes, you can embark on the journey on the Fraser River for an hour with the Fort Langley Canoe Club. You just have to sign a waiver for that!
