Mt. Cheam offers one of the finest 360 defree views anywhere in the South Coast of BC. On a clear day you can see all of the way to Vancouver Island and the Olympic Peninsula in Washington. The entire trail is in the sub-alpine and is beautiful from start to finish. The only reason there are not thousands of people here each day is the difficulty of the access road. CAUTION: There are sheer drops near the top. Do not attempt without a high clearance 4×4 vehicle.

The Ranch was started in 1960 by the Webb’s. In 1978 the Getz’s bought the ranch and have been running it ever since. Their experience over the years has made them able to set up a program that all could enjoy.
On the 55 acres of rolling pasture and trails there is also a riding track for beginners that is just under a half a mile long. With a 44 stall barn, six cabins that sleep up to 100 people, swimming pool, dining room, and licensed kitchen for those great ranch-style meals! They also have a recreation room for dances and an Arts and Crafts room.
Amenities include cardio & weight room, room rentals, free form wave pool, 6 X 25 m lanes, climbing wall, diving board, sauna, and a whirlpool.
The pool is designed to accommodate people with special needs, features include: electronically-activated doors, specially designed private change and toilet facilities, easy beach access into pool with water wheelchairs, trained and knowledgeable lifeguards, aquatic and fitness program staff.
Walnut Grove Community Centre offers everything from the community pool with a steam room and sauna to a fully equipped fitness centre. You can even find room rentals here to book for your next event!
