1. Maan Farms

One of the biggest farm attractions around, the Maan family continues their wonderful seasonal programming with a frightfully fun forest pumpkin patch, loads of family friendly attractions, and as always, their famous pumpkin spice soft serve! 

2. Taves Family Farms

Ready for a picturesque portrait of fall? Then make your next stop at this charming family farm, well-known for its autumn pumpkin displays (including an Insta-worthy Cinderella carriage!). Complete with a cidery, animal petting area, and towering sunflowers, it’s all part of their annual “Magic of Fall” series.

3. Abbotsford Farm & Country Market

With all the freshest and full-flavoured late summer/early fall produce, Abbotsford’s longest-running farm market is one of the tastiest ways to sample the natural terroir of the Valley. Stock up on organic eggs, mushrooms foraged that day, and all kinds of artisan preserves to line your pantry shelves through the cooler months. Head out before the season ends on October 31, 2026!

4. Farmhouse Brewing

Nestled in the Sumas Flats of Abbotsford, this is the second location for one of the Fraser Valley’s most popular breweries. Drop by their fresh air, mountain-view patio for a pint (or a flight!) and enjoy the country ambience while being serenaded by a rotating schedule of local musicians.

5. Greendale Acres

As they say themselves, this experiential farm is the perfect place to slow down, breathe deep and reset after the bustle of the summer! This family-run grocer/cafe/wood-fired pizza spot has peak cozy vibes that make it great for a meandering autumn afternoon. Grab all your locally sourced fall fruits and veggies ahead of your next family dinner, and then savour a specialty coffee and pastry for a job well done.

Sleek and convenient, this little spot is like an automated pantry, ready to supply your basket with fresh flowers, seasonal produce, and creamy local dairy products. Worth a visit for the unique shopping experience alone, keep this one in mind when you’re running strolling your autumn errands.

Corn straight from the field, hand-scooped ice cream, and a pumpkin patch perfect for your fall family photos, this community favourite farm has no shortage of autumn vibes. The little ones will adore roaming around the kids’ zone complete with a giant inflatable jumping pad!

10. Wells Farm Market Ltd.

Sometimes all you need is to let the flavour speak for itself! This is a good old-fashioned fruits and veggies spot that focuses on cultivating the highest quality produce through every season. From their carrots to onions to pumpkins, you will taste the difference it makes to your recipes when you support small and local.

11. Creekside Cheese + Creamery

European-style cheese, cream-top milk, grass-fed beef, you know it’s good when there are hyphens in every item name! At this working dairy, you can sample firsthand the bold flavours created by a family of passionate artisans. Stop by, meet the cows, and grab some Alpine Ash, just about the best thing you can bring to your next dinner party invite.

Now that we’re in the back-to-school season, all the more reason for you to embark on a spontaneous field trip! This step back into 1906 fits the bill nicely with an immersive tour through an old-fashioned general store, a museum about local history, and entertaining guides that fully commit to the time period.

Home to a pumpkin patch, winery, hayrides and a corn maze, Eagle Acres offers a cornucopia of unexpected autumn detours. Did we mention it’s a working dairy farm too? Book your tour through the barn to see where the magic happens, and you can even learn how to milk a cow!

The berries may be out of season at this point, but there are still plenty of reasons to stop by this farm fave.
