Your Guide to 2025 Fraser Valley Tulip Festivals

When spring starts to bloom, there’s no better place to be than the Fraser Valley! It’s that refreshing time of year when the air is scented with the sweet smell of blossoms, and you can leave your jacket at home. The local outdoors is filled with opportunities for adventure, whether you’re heading out with a friend or embarking on a family outing to kick off the new season.

We suggest starting with some of our outstanding flower experiences—most notably our renowned tulip festivals! Year after year, these nearby spring festivals give visitors from all over an impressive scope of how dedicated our local green thumbs are and how rich the Canadian growing tradition is (especially in the Valley). Picture a sea of colour swaying gently as you savour a peaceful moment. It’s quite a sight to behold!

Each festival location is no more than an hour’s drive from Vancouver, making it the perfect addition to your local spring itinerary. These noteworthy locales are a fantastic and refreshing way to shop locally; there’s never been a more beautiful way to support the community! Word to the wise, though, tulip bloom times don’t last forever. The window for viewing usually only lasts through early Spring: April to mid-May (depending on growing conditions). So be sure to start your tour sooner rather than later; that way, you can stock up on freshly cut flowers and gather everything you need to plant tulip bulbs in the garden. Bring a bit of the spring bloom home with you, and imagine an extraordinary life of perennial tulips!
