The gorgeous rural scenery is home to countless unique attractions you won’t find in the city, from meeting friendly barnyard animals to navigating a towering corn maze. Fun and family-friendly country outings like these are never far away when you follow the Circle Farm Tour.
It’s a handy guide to some of our incredible local attractions, where you can follow your sense of discovery to authentic Canadian experiences run by warm and friendly people. There’s so much to do, you might need to make an extended stay! That’s no trouble, though. We’ve got plenty of room if you decide to make it a staycation (we’ve included some cozy options for accommodations, too).
Abbotsford
1. Abbotsford Farm & Country Market


Abbotsford’s longest-running country market is open for the season! A walk through the charming stalls at Jubilee Park is the perfect way to while away a Saturday morning.
2. The Agora & Apothecary at Tanglebank Estate

There’s nothing like al fresco dining, and the garden patio here has the perfect vibe for a farm-to-table meal with a chilled glass of vino. Take a walk through the gardens while you’re there!

Get the full farm experience with a wonderful self-serve produce shop, beautiful accommodations (including pool and hot tub), and stunning mountain views.

With u-pick apples and berries, a stellar corn maze, and a massive jumping pillow for kids (think an inflatable trampoline), you could easily spend the day wandering the farm, and many families often do. Note: keep an eye out for when their u-pick apples opens up; usually around mid-August!
5. Abbotsford Accommodations
Even with the longer days, it’s easy to fill the hours with all the different possibilities! So you might want to consider spending another day. Why not stay the weekend, and check out some of Abbotsford’s comfy accommodations?
Langley
6. Kensington Prairie Farm



Home to a herd of adorable alpacas, this character-filled farm is a destination for fresh grocery items and handmade gifts. They also have a few new additions to the family, with three camels recently joining the farm!
7. Cedar Rim Nursery



Welcome to the largest garden center in the Lower Mainland! Serving area green thumbs for over 40 years, this lush nursery has everything you need to get things growing.
8. Krause Berry Farms & Estate Winery



Celebrating 50 years of flavour-packed berries and tasty wine, this 200-acre family farm takes full advantage of the unique valley terroir. A great Circle Farm Tour spot to pick your own produce and then relax with a wine flight or craft cocktail.
9. Eagle Acres Dairy & Pumpkin Patch



Hop aboard for a hay ride through one of the Valley’s top farm destinations! Home to over 200 animals and an award-winning corn maze, you can’t go wrong with a visit to Eagle Acres.

Chilliwack
11. The Sparkes Farmgate Chilliwack
Looking for a freshly cut bouquet from the sunflower fields, sunflower seeds, corn, or different types of berries to snack on? This is your spot! Even better: they have a dedicated children’s area with a giant jumping pad.
12. Greendale Acres & Chilliwack Corn Maze



This family-favourite farm is absolutely packed with things to do, and kids will adore going from the corn maze to the farm carousel to the ropes and obstacle course.

Grab as many fresh blueberries as you can pick, and then visit the kids’ adventure zone with all your new berry-fuelled energy.
14. The Local Harvest Market


Filled with farm-fresh produce and local artisanal goods, this is a grocery store experience unlike any other! It’s a true community-enriching business, and the owners prove their dedication by also offering free online workshops on how to grow your own food!

After a day full of picking, maze-ing and playing, it’s likely time for a bit of rest and rejuvenation. You’d best check into one of the cozy accommodation options in Chilliwack.
Harrison River Valley

17. Creekside Cheese + Creamery



Craving high-quality artisan cheese? This creamery has some of the best around! Stop by for a few samples of the freshly made varieties and stock up for your next wine night.
18. Kilby Historic Site



One of the hidden gems of the Valley, this historical experience will transport you to a rural community in the early 1900s. Visit their period-accurate general store and be guided around the grounds by an in-character host.
19. Wells Farm Market Ltd.



No visit to Harrison is complete without trying the famous produce, and this cute micro farm is an excellent place to do it!
20. Cedar Cider & Homestead Cider




Nothing beats that first crisp sip on a summer’s day! Try either of these community-favourite cideries for a refreshing flight through local flavours.
