Event Details
The Abbotsford Farm & Country Market was established in 2003 and is operated by the non-profit Abbotsford Farm & Country Market Society.
It combines the best of a modern market experience with a traditional “make, bake, or grow” principle for its juried vendors. As a result, the Abbotsford Farm & Country Market showcases the best in locally grown and produced products. As well, with the creative talents of both artisans and entertainers.
The majority of vendors are growers and food producers from the Abbotsford area. Agri-related businesses generate more than one third of Abbotsford’s economic activity and are responsible for 20% of all local jobs.
Buying local food contributes to a healthier environment by sustaining oxygen producing plants, and reducing greenhouse gases from packaging and long-distance transportation. In addition, local food is fresher, naturally ripened and therefore a healthier choice for you and your family.
By shopping at the Abbotsford Farm & Country Market, you are supporting the health of your loved ones, the environment, and the local economy; and are helping to sustain the availability of local food for future generations.
Learn more about local agriculture and local food by meeting local farmers and food producers at the Abbotsford Farm & Country Market each week.

July 26, 2024 at the beautiful Ledgeview Golf and Country Club
The Holmberg Memorial Golf Classic supports AHGSS in providing palliative patients with a wide range of end-of-life services. As well, assisting their families and loved ones with long-term grief support. This event was created to honour the memory of Dave & Lee Holmberg and Dave Holmberg Jr. We also want to acknowledge the sudden and tragic passing of Nick Holmberg this past fall. We are raising funds to establish a lasting Scholarship in his name. We hope that you’re able to support this Legacy Gift.

Taste Around the World aims to celebrate the cultural diversity within Abbotsford, where food and culture converge to foster unity and understanding.
In collaboration between Archway Community Services, United Way British Columbia, Tourism Abbotsford, and the City of Abbotsford’s Culture City: Program Series, this annual gathering aims to support newcomers as they share cultural recipes and stories with neighbours. This kind of meaningful cultural food sharing encourages shared understanding and belonging. We hope to celebrate diversity, promote cultural exchange, support intergenerational knowledge sharing, encourage food justice education, and nurture meaningful connections within our community.
Through food, music, and performance, we aim to bridge divides, promote empathy, and enrich the fabric of Abbotsford with the vibrant colors of multiculturalism. Join us as we celebrate our diversity and connect with new neighbours.
