Build warm connections with local farmers and artisans whose roots run deep in this area, and grow a new appreciation for food, community, and craftsmanship. You might just find a few surprises along the way. The Circle Farm Tour is a series of community roadmaps that bring you to unique agri-tourism destinations, special events, farm-gate vendors, open-air markets and eateries dotted throughout the Fraser Valley. The Farm House Natural Cheeses
From Clothbound Cheddar to fresh Cheese Truffles, this family-run cheese farm produces an exciting variety of products made from happy, pasture-fed cows and goats. Tucked along a quiet country road in Agassiz, the farm has been in business since 2003, and a number of their prize-winning cheeses can be found in Vancouver’s high-end restaurants today. The goat and cow cheeses are inspired by the Old World and made with traditional recipes and methods.
Seaside Pearl Farmgate Winery
We’re going to the chapel and we’re going to get wine—wait, that’s not how the song goes! Swing by the Seaside Pearl Farmgate Winery for a tasting and a tour set against the spectacular backdrop of rolling pastures and meandering country roads in Mount Lehman. The historic charm of this community is infused in the wine tasting room, a copper spired chapel with intricate paintings and exposed wood beams adorning the interior.
Wander our Wine Region
Although the Fraser Valley is well known for being one of the most agriculturally productive parts of BC, it remains a surprise to some that the Valley is actually the second largest wine producing region in British Columbia. Our cool climate, fertile soil, along with farmers who have a passion for viticulture, means that wine lovers can find over 15 wineries covering more than 200 acres in the region.

Ever thought of making ice cream at home? Adding a punch of flavour is easy to this basic recipe! The Fraser Valley is abundant in local blueberry farms offering U-pick, pre-picked, or frozen berries that are grown only steps from the checkout.
Kensington Prairie Farm
Did someone say Alpacas? These quirky residents of Kensington Prairie Farm are light on their feet, but heavy in personality. Book a farm tour or alpaca walk to learn more about the colourful Camelids and their diet, temperament, quirky behaviours, and breeding. You might even get to meet a cria (baby alpaca). Proceeds from farm tours are donated to Quechua Benefit, a children's charity in Peru.
